Doug, great post. I think this is the best, most comprehensive summary of the root-issues I’ve read to date. I’ve been reviewing this post section by section in-detail, and I think you may have a typo or freudian slip in your First Ammendment section.

“The First Amendment protects citizens from government citizenship.”
As much as I’d like the Constituion to protect me from government citizenship, I think you may have meant to write, “government censorship”.

Let me know if this is the case, or if there is some other meaning here that I am over-looking.
